I got the nicest email the other day on facebook. It was from another woman…now don’t get it twisted. I LOVE all the messages I get from you boys. But this one was really sweet. She says, basically….that she is a big girl too, she’s seen my website and such and is wondering what she can do to have the confidence that I have.
I want high confidence for all women, not just some. For me, it isn’t a big secret, it’s no secret at all actually. What I told her is that what builds confidence is different for everyone. I’m not sure what will do it for her.
For me, what makes me confident, is I take good care of myself. Ok, ok…I TRY to take good care of myself. I try to eat as well as I can, and five days a week, I work out. You may look at me, and say…she’s fat, no way she works out. True story, though. I love working out and it makes me feel good. So does trying to eat well. Not that I don’t love me some Ben & Jerrys ice cream, I’m not even gonna lie. But I put on my makeup, I wear clothes that fit me and make me feel comfortable and it all works to give the confidence that I do have.

Recently a new twitter companion has come to the forefront of everyone’s obsessions. It’s called Formspring.me. I’ve been having A LOT of fun with it. What it does is allow people to ask you questions, of any variety, and if they want, they can be anonymous.

I’ve gotten a lot of really interesting, thought provoking questions.  I also get lots of repeticious questions.  And some aggravating ones, lol.  I like formspring because people can ask questions without giving their screen name and then they don’t have to be shy, they can ask anything they are thinking.

Formspring is frustrating because people can ask questions without giving their screen names, and they can ask anything, LOL.  It’s truly a double edged sword.  The same feature that allows people to feel free to ask what they think might be an embarrassing question, also allows cyber bullies to spout their filth freely.  They can talk nice to you on twitter and at the same time ask stupid questions on formspring….Here I’ll show you some good questions and some bad.
